THE ROMANIAN DIRECT SELLING ASSOCIATION

Romanian version

Founded on April 15th, 2002, RODSA in a non-profit making membership-based first registred organisation (see RODSA ID) that represents the direct selling industry in Romania. Members are industry make only this selling.

The RODSA office is located in Cluj-Napoca, Romania (see Contact information).

THE OBJECTIVE OF THE ASSOCIATION:

	integrate the circles connected with direct selling as a modern way of marketing characterised by a personal contact with the customer and the offering and selling of goods or services directly to the consumers, particularly in their home, (see The List of the MLM & DS companies in Romania)
	present to the public the position of the Association’s members on matters relating to the direct selling,
	promote direct selling and undertake other activities in support of developing this way of marketing,
	raise the public knowledge and acceptance of direct selling.

THE ASSOCIATION ATTAINS ITS OBJECTIVES BY MEANS OF:

	creating, disseminating and compliance with codes of conduct for direct selling,
	conducting research and providing technical and scientific information,
	organising a collective and individual exchange of experience among its members,
	initiating and organising conferences, symposiums, seminars, and lectures,
	establishing and developing co-operation with institutes of sciences, schools of higher education, social organisations, and associations with similar statutory objectives,
	disseminating among the public the knowledge of direct selling and explaining its modes, scope, economic importance, and advantages for consumers,
	representing its members and presenting their positions before state authorities and other institutions, including economic and political organisations, broadcasting and television stations, the press, and institutions for the protections of consumers.

MEMBERSHIP (RODSA Members):

RODSA was registred at December 15, 2003 as consulting partner by the ANIMMC (National Agency for Little and Medium Entreprises and Cooperatives of the Romanian Gouvernament)

RODSA has applicated for join Direct Selling Europe

As the first founded and registred DSA in Romania, RODSA has setup an application to membership of the following international organisations, since July 2002:

	The Federation of European Direct Selling Associations (FEDSA), whose headquarters are located in Brussels, Belgium FEDSA represents DSA's of 26 european countries.
	The World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA), whose office is located in Washington DC, USA. WFDSA represents Direct Selling Associations of more than 40 countries world-wide.

Any other resolutions and public communications of the foreign organisations, outside of RODSA's decision and agreement, are not avilable for the RODSA's policy. Any others arrangements, outside of RODSA's agreement, are not acceptable for the RODSA's environment.
